No Russian or Belarusian participation in Birken
Since 2022, Birken has decided not to allow Russian or Belarusian participation in Birken 2024 and 2025 due to the ongoing and deepening conflict in Ukraine.
”Together with other long-distance race organizers, we have jointly decided not to remove the ban that was introduced in February 2022 upon Belarusian and Russian Pro Teams and Athletes.”
